Workshop vision

From scene understanding to grounded action

DriveX examines how foundation models can move beyond isolated perception tasks toward autonomous systems that reason about the physical world and act safely within it.

Autonomous driving is a large-scale embodied-robotics problem. Intelligent agents must perceive, predict, reason, and act in uncertain 3D environments under stringent safety and real-time constraints. Foundation models are shifting the field toward systems that connect vision, language, geometry, time, and action.

DriveX@ICRA 2027 brings together researchers and practitioners across robotics, machine learning, computer vision, and autonomous systems. The workshop will explore multimodal and Vision-Language-Action models, generative world models, 3D spatial intelligence, cooperative autonomy, agentic systems, and efficient deployment on real robotic platforms.

The program combines invited talks, contributed papers, posters, demonstrations, moderated panels, interactive discussion, and a closing synthesis of shared evaluation priorities and open research problems.
